FAQ: Do you have an ASP script to check the installed license?

AspTear 1.2 ships with tear.xls, which contains a function to check the validity of the installed license key file/username combination (intended for verification after installing). However, you'd have to have Excel installed on that machine for this purpose only.

In order to be able to check the license on Web servers with no software other than ASP installed, you can use the asptearlic.asp script (Download).

AspTear 1.5 and upwards have multiple scripts installed alongside: VerifyLicense.asp, VerifyLicense.vbs and VerifyLicense.xls. There is no need to download the aforementioned zip archive.
